My brother wants to get the latest 750iL, and would like to find out if there's any plan from BMW to change the appearance of the car in the next year or so. He doesn't want to get the car now and by next year, a different-looking car is released. I don't know too much about BMW 7 cars, so that's why I'm asking you experts here. Is there any rumor about a change next year, or 2008? How long has the E66 7 series been out? He doesn't want the V12 760, only the 750iL. Any comments are appreciated.

you mean the 750li. That's the latest. The 750il is the 95-01 model. They are expected to come out with a new model in 08. Pretty soon.

Is iDrive THAT bad? We're gonna check out some cars this weekend, to get a feel for how that thing works. But from reading, I don't have a favorable impression. I mean, just to change a radio station, you gotta go through a few menus? People change radio stations all the time, not to mention climate control settings, and I heard that's pretty cumbersome with iDrive as well.
