I have the opportunity to buy a 2001 m5 with 22k on the clock. immaculate. seller claims it belongs to his bro-in law who is very wealthy, and has too many cars, and not enough garage space for all the toys. If the car is all he claims.... 35k will take it I hope. Anything to be watchful of ?? Almost seems too good to be true! thanks

That's a good price! check out www.m5board.com if you haven't already. There are some typical problem areas, most you can find with either a CES light or visual inspection. Carbon build up is the big $$ item but with the low miles you should be ok now. MAFs, cam shaft position sensors, broken rear sway bar brackets are the most common that I've found.

That's a great price. I'm looking right now as well and I would at least go look at it.
