I planning on putting a new cooling system in my E36 M3 on Sunday this weekend(the 12th) and was wondering if anyone around San Diego has the 32mm wrench & fan removal tool I could borrow.
of course you 'll get some beer or something in return!

or something similar. Most bike stores should have them.

Leedawg - thanks for the offer!
Looks like I might just pickup my own 32mm wrench @ the bike shop. And maybe just use a large screwdriver for the fan.
But I still have a few days before the install, so let me know if anyone has these.
Thanks again everyone!

I bought my 32mm wrench @ Sears. I used a long screwdriver to hold in place.
If anyone has the fantool in SD, that I can barrow, so I can make copy of it and make it myself
I got a $10 bike shop 32mm wrench but broke my cheap screw drivers so I got the $20 fan tool of the internet.
You are welcome to borrow them :)

Usually all you need is a 32mm wrench and a hammer. Put the wrench on and give the end a good whack or two with a hammer (remember it's reverse threaded). Should knock it loose and you can spin it the rest of the way off by hand. I'm a BMW tech and that's usually what we do. Only the stubborn ones need the special tool to hold the pulley.
When putting it back on, spin it on by hand till the fan seats. Then give it a good whack or two to tighten. Should be good to go. Hope this helps.
I have a 32mm wrench and use a smaller wrench (can't think of the size offhand) to hold the smallerbolts in place. Did you already get this taken care of? I'll be around this weekend if you wanted to borrow the wrench.
