Well good news, I am sending my payment for Gregg's car today. Finally not going to feel left out around here for not having a BMW anymore. I will probably get the car in about two weeks.

And the bad news, ah nevermind, I would get flamed so bad for it. So lets just say I won't be back home and available until March 14th.

That is all folks.

BTW: Gregg is a member on here if you didn't know and it is an E30 "super" eta

Good luck in the "bad place."

:rofl I am just syked. Can't wait until 3 o'clock.

This will also be my first manual. Since the car does have 217k on it, I was thinking in the future a possible engine swap. Probably just an M50, but it just depends what I can afford by then. I know this car has been very well kept, and I probably will not drive it much until I get rid of the Accord.

Thanks all.

I am very confused by this. How the hell is locking you up for a week in the middle of the school year going to help you get rehabilitated?

I will never understand America's justice system.

Ok, I will explain.

I was arrested back on July 30th of 2005 for Poss. of controlled substance(felony). I got a choice to go into a program called Drug Court. Drug Court is a minimum of 18 months of out-patient treatment. It consists of 4 phases. Phase 1(2 months): class on Mon, Wed, Fri, and you have to see the judge every Tuesday. Phase 2(4 months): class Mon, Fri, judge tuesday, 2 NA/AA meetings a week. Phase 3(6 months): class Tues, Sat, judge 1st and 3rd Tues, 2 NA/AA meetings a week. Phase 4(6 months): class once a month, judge once a month, 2 NA/AA meetings a week. Drug screens 2-3 times a week in all phases randomly. I had just graduated Phase 2 and was a week into Phase 3 when the Drug court staff had found that some people were forging their NA/AA meeting sheets instead of just going to them(a whopping 2 hours a week). The ones who did it were given a chance to confess to it, if they did not confess and were found forging the sheets, they would be terminated. There are roughly 65-70 people in this program. 37 people confessed to doing it, I was one of them. My punishment: i get set back 6 months in the program(I am now in Phase 1 again), 3 NA/AA meetings a week for 3 months, and 7 days in jail in which will be served today until next Tues. I did not think just signing these NA meeting sheets was that serious but apparently it was. Some people who did not confess until the last minute got 28 days in jail along with the other things.

I am not a bad person, I just had a problem with drugs and I have been given a great oppurtunity to change my life around. I can say getting arrested was the best thing that happened to me. I wrecked my first BMW (88 325is) not because I was high at the time, but because I was into drugs and my mind was chaos. I took advantage of things along with 37 other people and now I have my consequences. I am 18 years old and it is hard to believe I have done this much. I am proud to say I am going to jail being 7 months, 7 days sober.

There is my story.

My E30 will kind of be my get-out-of-jail gift for myself.

:wave

see you in 7 days.

One of my close relatives just got done with 13 months of rehab. I am talking about the kind where the first 3 months you don't even get to talk to anyone but who is there(no family no friends). The real deal rehab.

No shame in rehab. You do what you need to get/keep clean. This is a great opportunity for you. DO NOT SCREW IT UP. It can mean your life.

Hope you make it pal.

I've spent days in jail in various county jails and you won't get your butt slammed unless you want to (being a homosexual). Maybe its worse in Prison, but in fulton county jail there was only 3 guys who did that (and incidentally were the only white people there). I didn't fall into the white category and made some muslim friends in there, and yes there were drugs and this was when fulton county jail was in its "bad" period where there were staff shortages, riots, etc. Which jail are you going to?
