A couple great DJ's are coming to Glow and I want to catch them while I can but of course I'm 17 and 7 months old. I'm wondering if I should get a novelty ID for entertainment purposes only :devillook or use my brother's. Any ideas?

i dunno about random checks... when nice DJs come in (Paul van dyke, armin van buuren) there are way too many people. So as long as you get in - you're fine. However, they do look at your ID carefully at entrance, so i suggest you get a fake or your bro's ID (AS LONG!!! as you look A LOT like him!!!) if you get this ID taken away from you, you both are f*cked

At a lot of places in DC now too they're starting to scan the IDs to make sure they're legit. Your best bet would be your bros ID as long as you really look like him. I don't know if they do that at FUR though.

Yeah, scanning ID's is definitely becoming a popular choice at bars that have a cover.

I'd be careful, you never know who might be undercover. Like on Miami Vice, Gina and Trudy would blend into clubs or Tubbs would pretend to be a Jamaican dude. And of course there was Crockett going in as Sonny Burnett.

You just never know who watching you and if you try to split, they might have backup waiting for you, like how Switek and Zito would be waiting in the bug van.

My cousin says this kid at CP can make me a nice novelty ID for 100 bucks, a scannable one for 140. However I don't know just how good it is.

Im guessing you're trying to see Ferry, G&D and Armin... I go to glow on regular basis and have never been, nor seen anybody get carded inside. They also don't scan IDs, so as long as you look like your brother, I'd try to use his ID. My friend didn't get in when he tried to use his fake.
Also, paying a hundred bucks for an ID that may not even get you into a club especially when you are on the verge of turning 18 is pointless IMO. Those DJ's are regulars at glow and will surely be back within the next half a year, maybe even multiple times. Sasha is a resident now for example...

Whats the point? Both places are 18 to get in, and Fur is by far in a nicer part of the town... Besides, I doubt that Nation will book those guys, not really their type of music.
