View Full Version : Can someone fashion a sig from this pic? scorch268 03-06-2006, 09:18 AM Taken about 20 minutes ago :) I am teh suckage at the artness, so any creative input would be great. http://photos.bimmerforums.com/data/507/IMG_4137.JPG Cwaters 03-06-2006, 09:19 AM what's up with the three identical cars in the background? Wonder if Wah can pchop the car back a few spaces so the rest of the garage isn't in view :))) scorch268 03-06-2006, 09:20 AM what's up with the three identical cars in the background? Wonder if Wah can pchop the car back a few spaces so the rest of the garage isn't in view :))) The buckhead plaza (must be said in either a french accent or with your nose in the air) leases the top portion of the deck to a landrover/jag dealer, hence the triplets :) Doctor Wha 03-06-2006, 09:26 AM Wonder if Wah can pchop the car back a few spaces so the rest of the garage isn't in view Hm... :ponder Edit: That's more trouble that it's worth, but what I can do (and have done thus far) is throw more "shadow" on the backgroud cars so they don't jump out at you. Stand by... Doctor Wha 03-06-2006, 09:43 AM Here's the quick version... :cool scorch268 03-06-2006, 09:48 AM Here's the quick version... :cool LOL. Freakin sweet. Stand by... yeah, so I was being a little sarcastic there... I do like what you've done with it though :D Doctor Wha 03-06-2006, 09:59 AM LOL. Freakin sweet. Glad you like it. A tip on sig pics, if you like: Depending on what you want to show, there are a few ways to shoot them. For a close-up, "looking at it" view, to show detail and what-not, what you did is fine. However, if you want something more panoramic in scope, the more you can back away from the car, the more space it will open up to the sides of it. Had I been on a deck like that, I would have put my car in one of the spaces well behind yours, along the edge of the deck, toward the outside corner, backed into the space, facing outward. Then, I could walk over to somewhere near the front of the Jag nearest to you (in your pic), focused on my car, then re-framed to shoot a wider scene, with the car to one side (see my sig for an example). This gives you the ability to make your sig wide, but narrow vertically, taking up a bit less "scrolling space" on the page. But as I say, it just depends on what you want to show, and how you want the sig to look. In any case, that looks like a good location, though. Might have to remember that one. :ponder :cool DW |
