Hey guys,
The weather here in dallas has been PERFECT for the past week! God 70 degrees in the evening, crusing arond has been fantastic. Anyhow, how hard do you think it would be to set something up so that all the BMW crews from say austin, houston, dallas, etc etc can meet up downtown sometime? Maybe 1st week of november? I think it would be sweet for all of us to meet up.

We already have a time and place for this. Our next club meet is Oct 12, a Saturday or if you think that is too early, we have another one on November 9th. And if that one is still too early, there is another meet on December 14th. It is all on Saturday and time to meet is 3pm.

If you really really want an all TX meet, just pick one of those dates and all drive up from Houston and Austin. We find some sponsors and stuff and we got a event.

But before we can get sponors and stuff, we need to find out just how many people will be interested in this. :)

I will have a party at my house if a lot of people are coming up from Austin, SA, and Houston after the meet. If this is going to be huge, then I can let a few crash at the pad too. Holla!

cause we dallas people said so and Houston roads just suck : stickoutt

heheh... Our AaronM3 suggested it and since we have regular monthly meets in dallas, we don't really need to find a place or set a time.

I would suggest that everyone come up for Nov. 30th meet at DTMotorwerks. There will be cars from wheelpower(Hamann widebody coupe and sedan). This will be fun, david and the guys have some things instore.

There was talk about another bimmerfest in Dallas this may or may not happen not sure. Bimmerfest Dallas would be a Texas thing.

Also I would pick Austin to meet in for a Texas meet the place is more central and the roads are alot better if you know what I mean. There is not much todo in Houston or Dallas. Houston will never be picked due to my car wont be going there ;)

If you wanna pull off a big event go to one and see what type of things take place or talk to the guys who organized the thing. You'll need parking, scheduel of events, the actual events, judges if having car show, and things to give away which come from sponsors.

One place for a Dallas meet I would pick Motorsport Ranch to see how much they cost to rent the track for a day.

Bobby Archer is having another party I'll be going to so I'll ask about this.

That DTMotorwerks sounds like a great event. That event can be the all texas event we wanted.
