NaziRocket26 03-03-2006, 10:50 AM Hammersley is in the middle of nowhere... but its actually a nice dealership, and their parts department has killer prices. Apparently its owned by a goon who owns a bunch of businesses down that way, and puts all of his competitors out of business... Its a small town... word gets around. The future Mrs. NaziRocket is from there. Bav///Man 03-03-2006, 08:40 PM The future Mrs. NaziRocket is from there. :eek2 bump for a VA dealership....is this by Lynchburg? NaziRocket26 03-04-2006, 05:47 PM :eek2 bump for a VA dealership....is this by Lynchburg? stop with the jaw dropping and accept it Dave. Its in lynchburg... its also a sweet dealership. TonyC2639 03-17-2006, 02:41 PM I am sitting at work about three blocks from the Hammersly Dealership. We're not quite "in the middle of nowhere" but I agree it's not like there's a real city around us. It is in Forest, Va, just a stones throw from Lynchburg. It is a very large and very nice place and they do have good prices. They handle mostly BMW and Mercedes although I do believe they sell some Fords too. The reason it sits out here is that the owner came by it by marrying the original owner's daughter so he has nothing invested in it. It did build it up to a very large business but he mostly did it for sport...he doesn't need more money. He is wealthy and pilots his own Gulfstream jet. Another thing you will find is they are extremely nice to work with in person. I went in there to pick up a $15 dollar part the other day and they don't know me from Adam. The way they treated me you would think I wanted to buy a new 7 series. I guess that's a smart way to do business. |
