Can anyone provide guidance on what to do for a ski and bike rack for my 2006 330xi? I know BMW has a rack that fits into the threaded boltholes in the roof, and I assume Thule components are compatible with it -- but am I better off going with a standard Thule rack rather than going through my dealer?

I just checked my e46 Thule rack on the e90 and it doesn't fit. Neither Thule nor Yakima list one so I'm off to the dealer for the BMW rack.
