PS-BF.C doesnt like T I N Y P I C apparently, gay. CABimmer 03-15-2006, 09:00 AM This is before I made some ride height adjustments Greg S 03-15-2006, 09:56 PM mine :confused CABimmer 03-15-2006, 10:33 PM 3003 pounds with half tank of gass. I also made some ride height adjustments to equalize the left front to right rear. Greg S 03-15-2006, 11:18 PM My fronts are fine it's just the rear's that are off. I think I should raise my RR 1/8-1/4" and lower my LR 1/8-1/4"...does that sound about right? PS-I know its the diagonal weights that matter but if I can make the two rears equal to each other i'd be perfect. CABimmer 03-15-2006, 11:44 PM I would raise the right rear one turn and weigh it again. Greg S 03-16-2006, 01:05 AM I would raise the right rear one turn and weigh it again. I heard the guy say 1/4" was about 30 lbs, so i dont think 1 turn would be enough. Maybe one turn(up/down as necessary) on each side? EDIT-1 turn= ~1/8", correct? CABimmer 03-16-2006, 10:16 AM not sure, I would think 1/4 with the thread spacing. Fair 03-17-2006, 01:37 AM Dang those Toyos... :mad (check out the blog entry about Toyos RA-1s vs Falken 615s (http://www.vorshlag.com/blog/)) The sun was in my eyes! :D Hanchey's, too! Nice drivin', Doug. CABimmer 03-17-2006, 10:35 AM Terry, do you guys to aluminum welding? Im going to do the VAC or Turner oil pan baffel and need to find a shop that can weld it in. hancheyb 03-17-2006, 11:13 AM Greg, Raise the RR 1/4". It helps to have something like a steel ruler with 1/10" increments, but you can use a tape measure if you have to. Find a spot you can be consistent from and raise the adjuster 1/4". We'll reweigh it the next time we have the scales out there. Doug, Kurt Janish is a SCCA guy that has a full time shop in Wylie. Pretty sure he has a TIG. If not, he's in a business park with other race shops. Terry might have his number or else we can find it for you. I need to put on our sheet to remind people that we did that weighing with your sway bars connected, probably need to disconnect and do it again to get more accurate results. And we weren't completely level. That data should be treated as just a baseline. Figured I'd state that before someone else did. :) Brian |
