Has anyone else had a problem with the 2006 X3 seat belts catching on the door seal and not fully retracting? I have had a few incidents of this and the last one caused a nasty gash on the vinly of the door when the door was closed on the seat belt latch that was caught on the door seal.

Nobody wants to attempt a repair of the door, including the dealer, and my only option seems to be a new door panel at $500+.
