For sale in Fremont, NH (seacoast) is my 1976 2002. I have owned this car for about 1.25 years - previous owner was my old boss who owned the car since 1996 I believe. During which time he rebuilt the engine, worked on the interior (seats, head liner, carpet, radio, etc) and gave it a paint job. The engine has about 10k on it since the rebuild and runs good. New clutch at the time of rebuild, but the shifter has the original bushings in it, so there is some play.
Body has no significant rust or holes - but could probably use a paint job at some point. Rear shock towers and floors are all solid. I do have a front molded bumper for it that I was eventually going to install but never had the time. I also have 2 complete instrument clusters for it since the tach and speedo are a bit "off" and I was going to install one of these but again, never had the time. The mileage reading is not accurate since the odometer has not been functional for a while. Estimated mileage on the car itself is well under 150k.
About 7k miles ago the following was replaced:
muffler and cat. converter
front & rear suspension bushings
front and rear rotors
front & rear wheel bearings
center steering link (replaced during alignment)
Most recently the car has received:
4 new tires
drivers side caliper (due to it being frozen)
new coil, plugs and wires
carb. rebuild (weber 32/36)
Overall, the car starts and runs good. It looks good from about 10 feet - up close you can tell the paint needs to be re-done. Still handles great and I have lots of other parts that go with it including original seats, instrument clusters, molded bumper, trim work, original radio, etc. etc.
I'm not parting any of this out - 1 buyer gets all and can do with it what he/she wishes.
Looking for $3,750 - pretty firm. The buyer must be willing to come and see the car, as I do not have time to run around and meet up with people.
Located about 25 minutes from Portsmouth, NH and about 1 hour from Boston.
Please e-mail mthar30@juno.com with any other questions and I will try to be as responsive/descriptive as possible. I would like to unload this within the next month, but that doesn't mean that I want to drop the price in order to do so. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE.
Thanks,
-Matt
