Good Day Everyone -

About three days ago, my Navi Screen became 'stuck' on the 'intro' "B M W Screen". Nothing works; no radio; no CD; no environmental controls - Occasionally, the eject button works for the Nav DVD - but that's it. I don't even get to "Accept" the "Don't look here while you drive" message...Very sad.

My question is the following: Is there a way to do a hard-reset of the system? I would rather exhaust all of the ways I could possibly fix this before I take it to the dealer.

im not sure if this is gonna work but try holding eject on both radio & Nav buttons & Volume power button kinda ctrl alt delete hold it for like 3 seconds & it should reboot

Take vehicle to your nearest BMW dealer for proper repair. The audio/navigation system is extremely complex and should only be worked on by a factory trained technician.

Mine was stuck at one point too. The above manual reboot is the remedy for this. If it doesn't cure the problems.. then call for service.

Thanks everyone. Quick update. I was able to get the system to reboot - sadly with the same effect. I am taking it in for service.

I appreciate the helpful suggestions.
