its all back together, got the usual 5 million CEL codes. it idles perfect, doesn't over heat, Doesn't tick or tock, but I am getting crap load of steam coming from the exhaust!!!

Checked the oil, the level's the same, no caramel. what gives? its been idling for 45 minutes and still has steam. :help

Its old coolant in the exhause from when the headgasket was blown .

That's residue of coolant,oil etc on you converters and the muffler ,ihad the same problem. You have to drive it around and see it should go way !!!!!!!!!!!
