I finally got a chance to wash and wax my car tonight. Its rained every single day here for the last week and a half, but we finally had a day with only a light drizzle that ended by 7PM, so...wax on!

After careful study of the Carcareonline.com pages, I decided to invest in a tin of the 3M wax. I washed my car with Zymol Auto Wash tonight, then I spent an hour hand applying the Perfect It wax. I say "hand applying" because thats exactly what I used for an applicator. Much better than wasting good wax loading up a sponge pad.

I followed up by buffing the wax out with a micro cloth. Per the online advice, I didn't let the wax harden or even haze.

I noticed that the Perfect It did not leave residue on any rubber or plastic it came in contact with. It came off very easily and left a nice shine, or as far as I could tell under the car wash lights.

It was after 11PM when I got done, so I won't have a good idea how it looks until I head out to work tomorrow. If it doesn't rain - again - I'll do some pics.
