If your car gets hurt from construction on the road, or poor road conditions in other words.

Anyone done this?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I honestly don't think there is such a thing. It's not like the state is going to reimburse you. It sucks, but everyone in MA has to deal with it. The roads are horrible.

I vote for the Massachusetts Autobahn to be built.

this happened to one of my friends... He was driving in Worcester and he hit a massive pot hole which blew out his tire and bent his rim bad... So he went back there the next day took a picture of the pothole that he hit... also a picture of the bent rim and the blown out tire... he put in a claim with the city of Worcester and it took a while for him to get the money but he eventually got rembursed for everything minus some depreciation of the rim due to some prior curb rash...

so it has to be done locally?

Yes, all damages needs to be taken care of at the city level..... Most cities will accept the claim within 1-6 months. You'll want to take a photo of the pot-hole before they fix it. You'll have to show photos of your wheel and a claim is more likely to be paid if you've already completed the repairs.

Good Luck with that,

if it happens on a highway you are basically SOL, no matter who you write to they will say its not their problem
