Well, its gone. :( My 2002 has been sold. The good thing is it went to someone who really appreciated it. The new owner and his wife were very happy with the car and it looks like it's in good hands. Hopefully, I'll still see it every once in a while at a meet.
Ahhh, but I still have my e21! :buttrock
Long live the '02! :D

It's always sad to let them go. These little boxes become part of the family.
However, I know you will return. '02 owners always do...

Watch for the warning signs of ENS

Normal reactions
It is quite normal for an owner to feel some sadness at this time. It is quite normal to have a little weep now and again - and it is even normal to go into the absent 2002's parking spot and sit there for a bit in an attempt to feel closer to the 2002.
More troubling reactions
If, on the other hand, you are feeling that your useful life has ended, or if you are crying excessively, or if you're so sad that you don't want to mix with friends or go to work, then you should seek professional help - especially if these severe symptoms go on for longer than a week.
We are here for you in this hard time of transition.

Sad to hear you sold it.
I did the opposite. Sold the e21 and kept the 2002. Wish I could have it all!!!

I guess there are two ways of looking at it. Is the new owner also in NJ?

New owner is in Nazareth PA. I think he is becoming a BMWCCA member. I told him to come on this forum and a few other '02 sites. It looks like it went to a good home and they really like the car. He is excited about getting it on the road. Biggest plus, it is now in a garage.
