"Bimmerfest is the celebration of being a BMW enthusiast...whether through ownership or admiration. Now in its 7th year, bimmerfest attracts nearly 1,000 BMWs, 3,000 total attendees, 35 automotive related vendors and 7 major magazines for coverage! It is an experience that enthusiasts look forward to from the first day they can register online for the event until arriving and enjoying the day.

"It is official; the date for the best BMW event in the land is April 8, 2006 and will be held at the Earl Warren Showgrounds to accommodate the enormous amount of growth from last year. UPDATES:

We got confirmations for VIP spots at The Avalon Hollywood *looooong story* Those who are not familiar with the club scene there... this is the club where Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, Tara Reid and even Kanye West are often seen partying there.

And of course, we have the DTM hook-ups at the Hilton in Hollywood. Thank Chea for the free suites!!

you can find the infos in DTM or E46fanatics.

but here's a summary of the trip:

There are 2 main groups leaving from the NW. The first group "The Lost Coast Cruisers" is leaving Wed. 04/05 morning. The group will be taking the scenic and twistie routes. Returning the following wednesday (4/12).

The second group is called "The Express Caravan". This is the group to accomodate those who are limited in days-off (you need a friday off). The group leaves Thurs afternoon (after work, school, etc etc). Coming back Sun 04/09 morning.

Both the The Lost Coast Cruisers and The Express Caravan will be meeting the Baybimmerscaravan (150 cars) at Pleasanton CA on friday morning, cruizing down to Santa Barbara.

Definitely the coolest bmw show, or car show in general that I've ever been to. I went with the express caravan and didnt sleep for a couple days, but it was well worth it. The drive was almost as fun as the show. This will be a yearly event for me now. How was everyone else's experience?
