Hey i'm a Student at UTD so, money doesn't come to easily. But i was interested if anyone knew a nice palce to get a couple parts painted. THe install will be done by me so, just paint for a decent price. I've been getting rediculous quote for 800 and 1000 n stuff and i know it doesn't cost that much for just painting my hood and trunk. If anyone has had any experience with any SHops in the Dallas or Plano area Preferably, but i'll be willign to drive to the irving area also if its a better deal and they've done a good job before. Let me know thanks in advance

Yeah on this site you always see kids with m3's and stuff complaining about how poor they are :rolleyes

But to answer your question, $800 for hood and trunk seems about right if it's a high quality shop. I would think if you skimp on just the hood and trunk, the difference between that and the factory paint job on your quarters and doors will stick out like a sore thumb.

CSL trunk is $1000 alone! I would just pay the $800 since you invested that much already.

Or you can go to Maaco..... :rolleyes

when my wife graduated from UTD in 01, she had a 92 camry with 197k miles. I had a 94 Integra.

oh paint....kylon FTW. pay the eight hundred, paint doesn't cost much. its the labor cuz you have to blend the surrounding paint and wet sand and buff it.

try Roadrunner on beltline/I75, they're right next to yamaha dealership. they did an awsome job on our car back few years ago and not too expensive.

They are behind Classic on interurban .

I've had work done by stuarts and highly recommend them they do great work! they matched a 1/4 panel perfect. and got rid of some ugly pinstripes and a new front emblem for free and they were great.
