Thanks for looking. This is a longshot, but here's my deal. Driving south to the Bay area this coming weekend and need traction tires for the trip.

I priced out new and a set of four will run $600. I'm just not willing to plunk that much down for new tread, when I'll be turning around and taking them off the following week.

I have 225x45x17's now. Looking for someting similar in snow/snow studded.

If anyone is in the PDX/Salem area and has a set that they'd be willing to lend, or that I could rent, ect. Please reply or send me an email and we can work out the details.

too bad you're not closer to kirkland and have a staggered setup. I have a set of 225/45/17f and 245/40/17r Yoko Iceguards sitting in my closet that I used for no longer than 4 months last season back in Chicago.

Good thinking RDD, thanks for the suggestion. Well, I've decided to use my SW Airlines credit and put 1200 few miles on the Bimmer and fly instead. So this is not an issue anymore.
