My car has a sticker on the interior of the rear window. The sticker crosses several of the rear window defogger lines.

The sticker is really on there - what is the best way of removing it without damaging the defogger lines?

Thanks!
Dan

You can take it and saturate it with WD-40, since its a solvent, it will start to eat away at the glue. If the sticker is vinyl or plastic and look impermeable, then that probably won't work. Your best bet would be to take a razorblade and cut inbetween the defogger lines, and then try to peel up the corners, then use goo-gone to remove the glue. -JinX

Oh yeah - First post! (Hi everyone)

I say try the Goo Gone first, saturate it well and let it soak in for awhile... use a paper towel to keep any excess from running down the window, even if you have to physically hold it against the sticker a few minutes.

...sticker should just peel off after that if done correctly.

I have used a hair dryer to loosen the adheisive with good success.

After you get the sticker off you can use alcohol to clean any remaining adhesive off.

If it is a vinyl sticker you can cut (score it) carefully between the defogger lines before using the goo gone. This will allow it to get into and under the surface. They also make little puncher wheels for wall paper removal (same purpose) that might work well.

I would probably use a razor and somekind of adhesive cleaner.
