Hello Folks! - I'm really hoping someone can assist me.
I own a 1995 325ci and reently had to replace the battery in the car. Ever since I replaced the battery the word "CODE" comes up on my radio screen. Now, I know what my code is and have tried to leave the ignition in the acc position for well over an hr and the screen would still indicate "CODE". My assupmtion was that eventually something like "- - - - -" would show up on the screen indicating when it would be ok to punch in my code. Well, it didnt. I don't have the ever popular "M" key on my deck so I dont think that'll work. Am I supposed to hold a certain button down after the 45 min? or am i supposed to just punch in the code at the "CODE" screen. has anyone experienced something like this?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!! and save driving!

you should have a code card w/ your owners books. it is a 5 digit number

if not you need to get the serial number off of the back of the radio and contact your dealer for the code. there is usually a .5 hour charge.

I supply them for $5; I will be back in the office monday and can get it then.

Best of luck,

Peter
