i did something really stupid today after school. it all started when i left during lunch to go home and eat. i got back to school and parked next to the curb on a side street (im not allowed in the regular parking lot). I accidentally left it in reverse. so after school i get in my car start up, had my hand on the shifter then remembered to put on some music. i looked back at the shifter and it was up in reverse i thought it was in 1st (just a quick glance). so i ease off the clutch give a little gas, i wasnt moving so i let off the clutch faster and i took off:eyecrazy . luckily not far 2 feet before i stopped. the poor girl who parked behind me was just opening her door and i scared the shit out of her. i though that i had hit her car. so i turned the car off got out and said sorry asked if i hit her she said no i appologised again got back in my car and slowly left. thank god no one but her noticed what happened and that i didnt hit her. :( it scared me.

The nastiest chick ever rammed into the side of my Integra in the school parking lot. It was blatant stupidity on her part because I had already been sitting right in front of her sideways for almost a minute. Afterwards, she started to drive off like nothing happened so I had to chase her.

I've done the same thing in my M3. That is, accidently reverse when I think it's in 1st. Like you, I might've moved 2 ft at most. No biggie as long as there was no contact.
