I am considering buying a 750i and would appreciate your thoughts on the comfort of the 20-way seats. I drive 35,000 plus miles per year in southern CA, so comfort is very important. I'm 6' 1" and 188 Lbs., so finding a comfortable position should not be an issue, but sitting for four, five or more hours per day in southern CA traffic and southern CA roads is my motivation to write a check in the $70,000 range to buy a 750i.

Also, I see many problem reports, and my brothers 530 engine blew up and he replaced the front suspension three times, all while the car had well under 100,00 miles on it, so I wonder about realiability. What do owners of the current model think?

The 20 way seats are nice, problem i have with them is there are to many adjustments. Heating and cooling is nice, the massage action is a joke. Is only 2 blatters under your butt that inflate and deflate.

Of all the issues I have had with my 760Li, it has only needed to be towed in once. 90% of the issues are minor and will allow you to drive the car further.

Expect to get to know the first name of your service advisor, I have his number on speed dial.

Would i buy it again, yes without a doubt.

My 98 750iL had 89k on it when I bought it, and the front end had already been rebuilt. The left front wheel bearing had been replaced around 65k and I had to rplace the right one almost immediately. The rear control arms and ball joints were also shot. As mush as I like this car I'm very disappointed that it didn't go 100k before needing all this to be replaced. I have a Chevrolet that went over 200k before the suspension was worn to this point. However, I do my own work so it only cost me around $300 to have all this done. If it lasts another 65k I won't complain (too much.)
