I need snow tires for my new DD, do any of you have experieince with these tires. It is the only option the tirerack had for me.
E30M3Driver 02-12-2006, 01:30 AM I just picked up a set in the stock 330i ZSP 18" sizes. So far so good. Smooth and quiet on the road, rides better than the run flats at 36 psi, dry grip is good, not really noticeably different than the stock RFTs in normal road driving. Haven't had them in much snow yet, we had some icy/snowy roads a couple of nights ago and I had no problems, even got up my driveway without DSC coming on. A week or two earlier, had similar conditions, and I barely got up the driveway with the RFT's.

ANd it is SNOWING here.

Well post your experience in the snow, ok?
I'm headed to New Mexico next weekend, looks like there will be snow then.

So far, I have one snow experience.
As some of you may know, it snowed here in teh Northeast. actually, saying it snowed is like calling Hurricane Katrina a summer storm. (not meant to offend anyone)
We got dumped on.
Anyway, my drive into work this morning was on roads that were plowed, but still had snow on them. The tires worked fine, the only problem coming from my over eager right foot. DSC also worked admirably. more as I gain snow experience with them as this was only my second day of driving my new car.
Arctic330i 02-13-2006, 12:56 PM When I lived up north, I used the Pirelli 210s which were out at the time and they worked pretty well. I was driving a FWD car though. If you look on tirerack under survey results they list the best performance snow tires and the top one is Dunlop Winter Sport M3, followed by the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25
