I have an '87 325i. A week ago one of my low beam bulbs went out and I replaced it just like I always have. Then a few days after both of my low beams stopped working. All of my high beams work and the fog lights still come on like normal it's just the low beams. Replacing the bulbs didn't work and all of my fuses are fine. It could always be a failure somewhere along the electrical lines but I'd rather try fixing all the little stuff before I take my car to the shop and hand them over an arm and a leg. If you've got any ideas let me know.

Thanks,

Those are good ideas. You need a voltmeter to "see" electricity. Is there power and ground at the lights? Be a shame to spend hours and money guessing at a power problem when it's really a ground fault.

I'm not sure, but I think those cars may have the low beam relay integrated into the fuse panel.
