My car has a problem with rough idling in the morning. Sometimes the engine stops when decelerating to stop. The check engine light comes on. When I check with my check engine tool, it show a lambda control 1 and 2 and oxygen sensor 1 and 2. The oxygen sensors have been replaced twice.
What part of the engine associated with lambda control 1 and 2.

I thought those were the O2 sensors. Thats what they were called on mine. My CEL came on for only sensor number 1 when I was using mid grade gas.

I would like to find out if the lambda sensors are defective. Can anyone tell me the location and how does it looks like?.
