A friend has this E30 with the good sport body kit in rough running condition.
I will post up pictures later, but here is a list of the known mods/issues.

Black E30 325i - 1989
212K (about)
Manual - Tan leather
Tech 2 Steering wheel
Lowering springs
Basket 15"s

Loose transmission linkage
Unadjustable valve timing - Compounded valve stems
(Rough exhaust timing)
Steering rack loose
Instrument cluster works, no Tach
Broken heater controls - Actually broke the plastic in half
No radio (just wires, no harness)

It runs hard and drives strong but it needs some suspension work to stiffen it up... new tires (very splashy) and engine work. The body needs work to be perfect but maybe 6/10 for exterior, 5/10 interior. The paint is shiny and doesn't look bad from a few yards. NEEDS SOME WORK.

Guy wants $1000.00 let me know if anyone is interested it will definitely be a good starter for a rebuild or restoring. I know Joecool could always use another E30 right?

Thanks!

i need to build an e30 racecar at work...

muddywrangler4x4@comcast.net

what do you mean by "rough" exhaust timing?

Why can't the valves be adjusted? Something broken? Does it need a new head?

Details and photos... also could you bring it by my race shop in suwanee during business hours?

First of all, Suwanee? WTF is Suwanee?
I live in Marietta.

By rough I mean roundhouse kick.

Serioiusly, the valves have been compounded by the rocker arms.
So the tip of the valve that the eccentric hits has been dented down so that it is past being able to time correctly.
The head needs to be redone for it to be in great cond.
That would run you about $400-$600.
Pictures in a few.

suwanee is not that far dude... i get from old alabama/Holcomb Bridge road to my shop in 20 minutes...

The head job would cost me 0... I am a BMW Technician at AutoFab Motorsports... so can it be brought by the shop? Can you find out...

I am an e36 expert but the owner of the shop is a die hard e30 man... he can look at it and in 10 minutes tell me my EXACT cost...

so let me know

hope pics are good

Lol I was gonna say, what do you mean you want a duplicate title.
Yeah I'll have bret call you, so why does this racecar need a title?

John I'll sell it to you for a good price, $2700 as is.

Okay, okay. So I didn't mean to be a jerk but maybe I can help you out.
Let me talk to Bret and we should be able to sort this whole thing out.

BTW Please if you have the chance turn this thing into a 335i.
I love seeing these cars with M30 swaps, actually I love any car with an M30.

Its the car I have right now in the sig. This thread is 9 months old!

I've fixed...and by I've, I mean Jesse.

-M50 engine swap
-M3 clutch/flywheel
-Momo steering wheel
-new instrument gauge cluster
-Pedals
-iS lip + splitter
-new trunk lid + spoiler
-leather shift booth
-blacked out grills
-plastic foglight covers
-headunit
-rear eurotrim
-red tail-lights

Prolly some more thing I've forgotten about. About the basketweaves, you're right. I put some 17inchers on it and it didnt look right at all. I cant wait to finish this car. It'll look really nice by the end of next summer.
