Hey guys,

The car through a code relating to the "abs speed sensor". Any clues where this guy is on an 04 325xi

You got four of them , each wheel has one, now you have to figure out which one is faulty...

If you can easily get under the car they can be taken out and cleaned, as you have a 2004 it is unlikely they are just dirty though. When I took mine out they were filthy, brake dust!

Are you under warranty?

Car is not under warranty unfortunately. How the hell do these things look like and is there ways to test them?

Typically situation as yours is caused by a faulty wheel speed sensor, without proper wheel speed signal the ABS/ASC cannot function properly. with your car up in the air, there is a 4mm allen screw back around toward the top of the dust cover. Remove the screw, and gentally pull the sensor out and check the condition of the toothed wheel (check for missing teeth or debris build up) check the condition of the sensor surface. The connector is held in the same holder as the brake pad sensor. Good luck, hope this is helpful<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
