well some of you might remeber me posting that i had bought this, but it was rather tore up. i honestly wanted to try and rebuild it but due to recent "compications" with my emploment i have to make a little extra cash so im offering the car up for sale as a parts car.

some of the main points to the car include:

tail light assmeblys look brand new and have no problems.
all the glass (save a couple of dead head stickers) is in good condition with no cracks.
the hood and posably the doors can be salvaged will need to be repainted though.
the engin besides a sparatic idle felt strong when given gas. no leaks were apperent (that is no coolent or oil was pouring onto the ground)
the rest of the dive train felt smooth and resposive, no slipping or jerking
the gas tank appeared to be intact and there was no odors in the trunk or interior.
the rear tower mounts looked rust free.
suspention felt fine
the interior looked so so and most the gauges worked (had problems with the speedo).
the cars odo has turned over at least once and currently has 17 (i think, ill have to look up the number again) on the clock
title is clear (if it matters)

although the car is drivable it is not roadworthy, due to the left engin support being rotted out. i would highly reccomend it being towed out.

im gonna start by asking 300, but will consider offers.

Id do it but I wont have cash until my tax returns come back other than that I could strip it clean and cut the hell out of that car. My 1600 and 2002 need some loving! My tii and e21 are fine and panels are nice on em.

I have friends and family in RVA so I can always stop in and rest there if need be. Like I said I need to think about it and gotta wait for my tax return...

That sounds like a damn good deal for a good engine and complete drivetrain, re-useable suspension, a clean gas tank and some refurbishable body parts.. Idle complications on these engines are minor problems and cheap to fix, which I'm sure yall already know.

With deals like these, makes me wish cars like this were local. Good luck with the sale and I hope you don't get hassled about the price. :cool

How's the rear bumper look? Can't buy the car (not enough space), but I'll throw you some money for the bumper and rear mount brackets if it is in decent shape.

looks in good condition from what i remeber. there is something funky with the front though. im gonna try and sell it whole and maybe you can get together with whoever buys it for the rear bumper.

it's none of my biz...but you'd get a lot more by parting it....the front & rear bumpers look to be very straight and would probably fetch $3-$400.00 on ebay
