Basics:

Black '87 325is, auto, 166,xxx miles on odo (see below).
Body in very good shape, paint is good and shines well; was a North Carolina car for much of its life. A little rust on leading edge of hood, which was repainted sometime in its' life.
Interior is fair with the normal seat tears, etc. Back seat good, dash good. Headliner needs work.
All windows tinted about 30%.

Motor has recently rebuilt head (before I bought it), I ended up pulling it to replace a broke #1 exhaust rocker.
Engine runs good, tranny shifts weird when cold - doesn't like to spend a lot of time in 3rd.
Custom exhaust, 2.5" from cat back with Magnaflow XL muffler.
Kenwood CD (plays CD-Rs), Kenwood speakers in front, none in rear.
Has new right tie rod end.
May have Koni struts on front, has the red Koni strut caps.
New tires (Falken 512s with less than 500 miles), wheels good. Brake pads in real good shape.
Drives true.

The bad:
This car is a CarFax nightmare - was totaled and speedo rolled back, but I have a clean IL title.
Speedo was most likely replaced, actual mileage is ~294k (?!?!) from what I can figure out.
Had a cracked oil pan, repaired, was not run that way.
Sunroof won't close all the way from the rear, slides back OK.
Central lock wiring is a mess, PO probably had an alarm and just tore it out.
Currently has a coolant leak around the t-stat housing, probably a loose hose.

Would make a good daily-driver, candidate for a motor / trans swap, project car or part it out.
I've got too much else going on now, so it has to go. Located in Streamwood, IL.
$1300 OBO.
PM or rmail me (arayski {at} gmail.com) with questions, pic requests or for a copy of the CarFax.
