Wow, this is wierd. This is my first time on this part of BF. We have about four sets of BBS Motorsport wheels at our shop, ERT. They were from our World Challenge cars I think.
As for how much, ALOT!!!! Even if you can find them...
They are fully modular wheels. We have 16" at the shop now, but they use the same centers for 16,17, and 18's.
We are in the process of refinishing the wheels, because they have just been sitting around the shop all apart. These things have more bolts, gaskets and O rings in them then you can imagine....
Some pics...

Weight wise, they feel lighter than the Fikse's I am working on for my car...

I picked these up about a year ago from the local track. 17x9 and 17x10. Story is that they came off of one of the AER mustangs. I knew what they were and they were too cheap to pass up. I originally thought about turning them around and making an nice profit. But then I realized that nobody had the kind of money to buy these things. Then I came to the point where I realized I would never get the wheels again for this cheap and decided to keep my BBS and buy some expensive stupid long wheel studs.
My question for you MdMcoupe is, what kind of maintenance is involved in this wheel? I have read that exposed magnesium will corrode and will look somewhat like a white chalky substance. I have one wheel that seeps air but its nothing bad and I assume that multiple piece wheels will leak a small amount of air. Do the rim bolts need to be regularly checked and torqued? What is the torque value? I was thinking about repainting the centers because one wheel is a different shade of gold. Can I powder coat magnesium or just paint? Is there an o-ring kit for rebuilding a wheel or do you use the same ones?
I've found this website to be a good resource and good place to find/buy/trade wheels/centers/rim halves new and used. I really haven't found another site that sells these race wheels.

They aren't soo expensive that they aren't affordable, especially if you decide to go with used parts. You could probably build a new set from bobwoodmantires for ~$4500 but that really depends on what diameter wheel you get and what width rim halves. I used set from bobwoodmantires would probably cost you $2700, again depending on how you build the wheel. check it out.

They're going on a Nissan that I'm building for the NASA SE-R SRX series

hmm, I just noticed. my rims halves are mounted on the other side of the center section than yours. does it matter? It looks like it could be mounted either way. Or do I have an older style?
