Like the title says, is there anyone around Redmond/Woodinville area who would want to help me replace a belt tensioner?
The Bentley is a little vague and I'll admit even though I've done a lot of DIY stuff, I'm slightly confused here.

Do you have a question? I've taken mine out before. It's been awhile though.

I'm just a little confused by the instructions I'm reading. I'm trying to solve a cold-start squeal.

Now I'm being told there is only one hyrdraulic belt tensioner, as well as the fact that the squeal could be my idler pulley. I'm just trying to get to the bottom of it.

Is your belt on correctly?
It should NOT look like this. I had the belt on like this. No damage to the belt was done and it wasn't that loud. Someone noticed the belt should be under the idler pulley instead of on top of it. I fixed it and the car is twice as quite now.

If you want to mob down to Portland I'll do it for you. Bring the parts, it shouldn't take me more then an hour, with the engine cold. :-)

Your call, its only a 90min drive ;)
I should also say, its a VERY easy replacement. Just get your tools out and take the pulleys/tensioner off, and you will understand what you have to do. Its very straight forward. I didn't use a manual and I had never done it before.

I think it's more like 3 hours! :confused
