Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for awhile and finally purchased a car. I just got a 1998 328is on Thursday. The radio display is gone (typical E36 issue apparently) and I need to get some fluids flushed/changed. Anyways, from what I've learned from searching Global doesn't have that good of a service department. I don't really have the time or resources to get to Macon, Athens, or Nalley in Decatur so I'm stuck with either United of Roswell or Global. So does anyone else have any opinions on United of Roswell? Is Eric Rossman still the guy to talk to? Is it better for me to set up an appointment?
Here's a pic of my car (sorry cell phone pic)

Hello and welcome!
Congrats on picking up a Bimmer. If you're out of warranty, I would take it to Performing Imports. The only time I have dealt with them was over the phone for some advice, and it was right on the money. I've heard great things from many people on here about the shop as well.

I had to perform the radio fix (and climate control) on mine. Both work perfect now. It wasnt bad at all. If you can get the unit out it may be worth a shot.

Thanks everyone and I think I'll be going to Performing Imports.
don't wreck your car!
Eh..I've always been scared of that. Speaking of which, I hope we can get together a drive sometime where its chilled out and doesn't involve crazy speeds. If the Corvette group I hang out with is capable of it, I'm sure we are too. Once again, thanks for the welcome guys
