This is just a feeler, due to recent changes in my personal situation.

For sale is a 2005-legal ITS/JP 1995 325is.

It is "2005-legal" because there are some new rule changes for 2006 that needs to be addressed in order for the car to be fully legal.

In order for the car to be SCCA ITS legal, the only thing that is needed is a 27mm SIR (single inlet restrictor) which can be bought for around $350. I understand that Bimmerworld is currently working on a solution that I'm sure will come out soon.

The car is very near stock, but here are some details.

There have been no engine modifications except for a cold air intake, exhaust and a chip from VAC Motorsports. It has around 110K miles on it and feels fine and strong.

The cage is a bolt-in cage from Kirk Racing products in Alabama. This is one of the best bolt-in's you can buy. The only thing about this cage is that in order for you to race in BMW CCA, you must weld the cage to the chassis, which shouldn't be too hard because the interior is completely stripped anyway.

The suspension is not stock, but it's not a race suspension either. They are Koni Single Adjustables with H&R Sport Springs. The sway bars are UUC SwayBarbarians and the rear sway bar mount tabs have been reinforced with the GC tabs.

The seat is Sparco Pro2000. It is a step above the Evo. It is mounted on the VAC Motorsports E36 floor mount plates.

The harness is a G-Force 5-point harness.

I'm thinking that I should start at around $8K for the asking price, but feel free to let me know what you think it's worth. In all honesty, you will probably want to spend at least $3-5K to improve its handling and driving characteristics, as it is very stock right now.

Thanks for looking!

No need. As long as you have a log book issued (BMWCCA) the bolt in can be grandfathered for 2007+

Thats a great price for that car. I have spent that much on my I Stock car in mods alone. Someone jump on this :)

Thanks for the clarification.

I do have log books for both SCCA and BMW CCA, so I think that should cover it! :)

Here is a bump and a question. Will the current interior accomodate a passenger seat? My thought is to maybe use this as an HPDE car.

Yes, the bolts for the passenger side is still there so you can either mount a regular seat or a race seat. I would recommend a race seat with at least a 5-point harness though.
