As some of you know, about a year ago I took over the TII Register web site for Bob Murphy. Bob has been involved with the TII Register for over 20 years and has been a constant source of information and help to the TII owners community the world over.

As part of the conversion of the register's knowledge into a more "virtual group of owners" in the 21st Century, Bob and I have been working together to republish all of the original information published in two decades of newsletters and also much of the hard to find original BMW NA documentation.

What is exciting is we are now releasing the book, "The BMW 2002 tii Fuel Injection System", which has been only available in hard copy to Register members and BMW dealers in North America. It was originally developed by BMW North America for its dealer network in the early 1980s.

The document is over 22mb Acrobat PDF file in length, but contains the vast majority of information previously known to dealers and pump subject matter experts.

Of course, this is not a step by step to rebuild your pump by any stretch of the imagination - that still takes experts with the right tools, parts and ttest equipment.

However, this does answer the majority of questions asked by Tii owners and prospective owners when it comes to the Kugelfischer pump.

I have been working to get this into a quality scanned document from the original copies. I hope you will enjoy this document as much as I have while rebuilding my car.

If you have any problems with it, please drop me a line.

Thank you very much Keith for both the manual and for taking on the TiiRegister. I must've been in the dark for the last year since I didn't know you were taking it over. I wish you the best of luck in making the TiiRegister even more successful.

On a related note, I'm glad you published this since I was sort of getting angry at sellers trying to sell reprint copies that don't even belong to them on Ebay.

Thats fantastic Keith.. I'll have to give my poor old modem a workout later on tonight.

I was lucky enough to get a copy of that booklet and tii register archives in a box in the back of my 74 when I bought it. I can't imagine how long it would have taken me to figure out what was going on in the guts of the Tii without them.

I'll be sure to point any new tii owners (or old ones) to that resource

cheers

-Zachary

Thanks for the encouragement. There is lots more surprises coming for that site once I get my car done.

And if you all don't mind, post a note on the FAQ about this, since I don't post there. Lot of Tii owners over there.

I posted a message over there.

I don't know why you don't post over there -- I recall some issue with somebody or something a while back--

Its none of my business, however, just so you know, a lot of folk are glad that you've converted that document and you are held in the highest esteem by many on the FAQ.

cheers

-Zachary

Thanks for posting that Zachary. The effort was to get the word out since many of them don't know this board exists.

When I left the FAQ it was for all the right reasons. The reasons to stay away still remain. I do enjoy helping people here.
