Sup guys, i guess i had sort of my first kill.. but it might be a little cheezy cuz u guys have all ur ill bimmers pimped out and stuff, and mine isnt that pimped out. i got an 87 e30 325 (auto.. was my grandfathers), with a K&N Intake, and Dinan Chip. My friend has an '01 Celica (auto), and put in an INJEN CAI. That;s all he has.
So he kept showing off at school telling everyone that it is fast blah blah. I think the car is quick cuzs its small and pretty light. so one afternoon i wanted to race him, so we started racing out of our parking lot at school. We went out almost the same time, but he was in front of me by a little. He takes off in the beginning and is ahead by just about 1 cl until i get into 2nd, then i floor it, and i pass him, and end up at the light down the road.(few football fields) about 3.5-4 cl's. He tells me he fidgetted his foot by accident and i slipped off, but i didnt believe him.
idk if hes right but hes got a small 4cyl. and i got a 6cyl.

what u guys think??

If he has a 325e they only make 121hp stock. With a chip he wouldnt be able to make 150 but if he had an "i" he would be close.

ha they're just messin with you about the M325. There's an M3 you can look up if you want more info. Your kill sounds possible and he's BSing if he said that. Look around on the E30 forums, you can find some very useful info

I raced my brother in his is and I pulled him in 3rd and he started to walk me at the end of 4th. Good run your car is almost 20 years old and it is handing it to new cars with better technology. Keep killin and postin.

Well that's what most people think but since there is a bunch of 8 and 9 second full weight daily driver Supras I would probably say that's bs.

But who knows what mine runs at the track. I race on the streets. I'd love to see what it will do, however it's about to go under the knife on Saturday..so after that we'll strap on the drag radials and see what happens.

An '01 auto celica GT is a rolling turd. I had a six-speed '00 Celica GT-S before I got my '96 328i, and that car could FLY with me at the wheel (of course... I threw a few things into the engine and ripped out every last bit of extra weight). But yeah, e30 325 vs 7th gen Celica GT is no contest in favor of the 325.

I drove a 1987 325e for 2 years, then an 1987 325es. Both great cars, but not much pop. Both were bulletproof, but the e wasnt warterproof, (i hydro-locked it in a lake, read: really big puddle.) Both were chipped, and in the es i eventually threw in a 3.25 lsd. This actually made the car fun. Not to mention the e30 m3 suspension I put in and the thrill of not having to crank anything to open the sunroof.

Still have 4 e30's in the family, at one time with 6. two ix's one es, one i and 2 m's. Those were the days.
