So I just bought a 70 2002 about 2 weeks ago, sorry if I'm killing you guys with all the qestions but there is so much info I seem to need. One of the first things I plan to adress is the suspension, right now it is one of the slopiest wandering cars I've ever drivin, i think all the bushings are wasted. I plan to swap everything, I just ordered ireland stage 2 springs and a full front and rear poly bushing kit, the car already has bilstien sport shocks, what else do I need, I want the suspension and steering razor sharp, I plan to get all new sway bars in the near future so I'm not gonna mess with them right now...

I think you've got a good start on the problem! Get the bushings in and those springs and it should tighten up

How is your steering box? You might want to pop the red plug and top it up with hypoid-90 if its low. Also you can adjust the big nut on the top if you've got play in the steering wheel.

If it has'nt been done yet, check and replace the center track rod and tie rod ends along with the pitman arm bushings. Are you also replacing the lower ball joints? While you have it up in the air, check your rear subframe mounts.
