NOS nose over

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOS is ON
OK here is what happened, I launched in 1st gear every thing was fine, I shifted into 2nd and as I hit 6000 rpm the car nosed over.
I think it ran out of gas, I had the 76hp orifice in it at that point. I changed back to the 63hp orifice and everything was fine.
I talked to Eddie Salvo and he said to get a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and add in 5 psi at a time until the car stops running out of fuel.
Does anyone have anything else to offer on this problem. It is a CompUCar dry system, and works really well.
NEXT THING the fuel rail is fed from the front, the fuel filter hooks up to the line that goes to the front on the fuel rail, so why is the stock fuel pressure regulator at the back side of the fuel rail????
Does anyone know of a DIY site to install a adjustable fuel pressure regulator???? Thanks for I hope a lot of help here.

PS the car is a 1992 325i BMW E36 with a M50 engine. There is a Turner chip in it, tuned S/S headers, NO CATS S/S low back pressure muffler. A K&N cold what ever filter separated from the heat of the engine compartment.

Def sounds like you are running out of fuel. Don't let it do that as it is leaning out the mixture and will detonate. You will have a great chance of breaking a ring land and or burn a hole in the piston. My advice is to raise the pressure with a external fpr and adapter AND get a higher volume fuel pump. BMP sells the adapter and fpr there may be others but that is the one I know. Letting it nose over is in my opinion in dangerous territory. FWIIW ///J.T.///

BuzSorry bmpdesign.com is an aftermarket performance warehouse they handle the regulator and blockoff plate you need for the upgrade. You should put a higher flow pump in as the origional pump is barely enough for the stock injectors. When you turn the NOS on it will drop the fuel pressure in the whole system. Resulting in not just the NOS being lean but the injectors go lean too. When all this happens the car goes lean and noses over. bad bad bad Oh BTW the car in my sig is my EFI / NOS powered PRO MOD I run about 800hp worth of NOS you should see the fuel pump on that! ///J.T.///

There is a Turner chip in it

Pull it. You don't need the extra timing advance that could potentially make for a long walk home. Get your fuel issues sorted out on a dyno with a wideband, seat of the pants is not a good way without instrumentation.
