My Fog Light-Light is always on the dash... The OBC makes noise at me every so often... :mad

The problem is in the fuse box... the fuse fits in the correct slot, but the slot is somehow broke and will not hold the fuse... it rattles out with normal driving, therefore I don't have fog lights..

Now replacing the whole fuse box would be a huge pain, and probably cost way more than would be expected because it looks like it is connected to the main harness... Regardless, can I find the wire running to the slot, splice off a jumper or something of that nature, and run it to the 15A fuse or whatever is required? Will this have any chance of working?

Please Help :embarrasm

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Is the fuse box connected by a plug? If so, you should just go to a salvage yard and get one.. it would be nicer than rigging up the other type of fuse.

if its not holding in place right just get some like tape or blue tack to hold it in place so it doesnt move.

It doesn't make a connection when its sitting in the slot, therefore taping it would not work for me... I guess I just want to do it on the cheap right now, hell even if I could cut the wire and run it to another spot with the correct fuse, if it would work I would do it...

Anyone tell me if its possible?

Can you see the tabs that pinch the fuse tabs to make the connection or are they gone?

If you can see them and they are stretched try bending them back close enough to hold the fuse. (IF YOU ATTEMPT THIS DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST).

PM me if this isnt the case, i have some other ideas that might help.

I did not see tabs, but it was getting dark at the time... I am taking it in to my local Euro car repair place tomorrow on an unrelated issue, I will check further tomorrow before I take it in..
