Just "kinda"? :conf Ineeda325 01-30-2006, 12:54 AM Yea...Didn't exactly appreciate the sensitivity of the brakes and accelerator-I'm guess just used to my benz. metale 02-06-2006, 06:31 PM Yea...Didn't exactly appreciate the sensitivity of the brakes and accelerator-I'm guess just used to my benz. Do you like delay, then? :) vteckilla 02-06-2006, 08:49 PM I have pulled my Bosses 2004 Mercedes Benz M class up to the front of her restaurant twice.Even though it was very short I thought it was cool. My father is looking to buy a X5 and I hope he does get it. jr1966 03-01-2006, 03:31 AM Mercedes is nothing compared to BMWs. I remember the time I had a fender bender on my 2-week old X5 more than 5 years ago. When the cop was writing up the report, the other cop said, "wow, a BMW jeep!". Then my brother in his Mercedes ML320 pulled over to see what was happening and the cop said, "Is that a Mazda van?". The X5 was so new that time that no one even new it existed. The ML wasn't available in locally so both vehicles were new to their sight. Ineeda325 04-22-2006, 01:16 PM HAHA- thats pretty funy. Is the suspensions adjustable on the x5....it was REALLY stiff for an suv, but great around corners! windnsea00 04-25-2006, 05:13 PM HAHA- thats pretty funy. If you don't like sensitive brakes/stiff suspension (must've had sport package) I would recommend sticking with Mercedes ;) X5's had optional load leveling suspension but that wouldn't change the dampening of it. jr1966 04-26-2006, 03:20 AM If you don't like sensitive brakes/stiff suspension (must've had sport package) I would recommend sticking with Mercedes ;) X5's had optional load leveling suspension but that wouldn't change the dampening of it. I remember that my brother's ML320 had a stiffer and bouncier ride than my X5 and mine didn't have the sport suspension. And I do remember the X5 with sport suspension I test drove rode better than the ML. |
