NCroadracer 01-29-2006, 12:07 AM There's one in the glove box, Look on the top of the glove box and you'll see the two white plastic twist locks holding the cover up, once you do this there should be a pull out placard with the fuse designations on it....The other is on the right hand side of the trunk behind the panel where the battery is. Mine is a little newer, though i think they're the same. 143330 143332 E34M50 01-29-2006, 12:39 AM thanks a lot bro! but i still cant figure out which one blew out. the tailights and the trunk light isn't working. i accidentally sparked the battery while unscrewing it. am i screwed? anything electrical worries me the most.... NCroadracer 01-29-2006, 12:45 AM Check fuse #41 in the glove box. It's on the lower right hand side (5th from the right) i think......It's a shared fuse for the LCM,trunk light and stop lamps. LuckyBlueBMW 01-30-2006, 05:54 AM There are no individual fuses for different car lights on E39. Everything is controlled from Light control module. There is only one fuse for this module. If it is not a bulb or wires fault it this module unfortunately. Theoretically speaking it could be reprogrammed if there are no blown components. Otherwise new (many$$$) or second hand. I bought second hand for around $90 and now I am OK |
