Sadly my family and I decided to let my toy go. Too many real estate projects to keep so much cash in automobile. I think for now I will have to drive my company car for a while. What do you think would be good number to aim for?

May 2001 540i 6M M Package, bought new in Oct. 2001.
69K miles
18" BBS RK2 + new Pirellis
Zimmermann / Brembo Brakes
New clutch
UUC EVO Shifter
Never wrecked, all oil changes posted on Carfax. Maintained very well, I spent tons of money to keep her perfect.

It should have angel eyes if it's an '01. A 2001 540i6 w/ 47K miles recently sold for $22,500 near Boston. I would think you could get somewhere in the low $20 range w/ 69K miles. If you want to sell it fast, post it for $19K.

Thank you guys. $20K is ok I suppose.
It does have angel eyes and Xenon.
I am still doing my math whether I need to sell her, or maybe I can manage without selling.

I am driving my dad's 13K mi E46 325Xi for a few days now and it is such a downgrade, even with the fact that it is almost new. It is the same E46 I bought on eBay little wrecked with 6K miles, it is like brand new now.

I think you should start a little higher, in looking at other cars offered that do not look as nice as yours I see prices from $22k to $25k. You can always drop the price, it's hard to raise it.

20K for a 2001?! That's a steal. I'd atleast start in the mid-high 20's and go from there...looks like a clean car. Miles aren't too bad. Good luck with the sale.

I think $22/21.5K would make me happy. Interior is like new. :buttrock

Why lowball it though? I mean, you've obviously put some money into it. In stock form those things usually sell much higher. I'd say atleast mid-high 20's, 25k at the lowest. But hey, whatever makes you happy.
