I just got my inspection II a little while ago and just recently I got my oil changed at the dealership. Usually when you turn on the car you get those 5 green lights and it progressively goes down til it turns yellow right? And isnt it supposed to reset once you get the inspection 2 done? Because when I started it i still have 1 green light. And a few days ago it went to the yellow light but I just changed my oil and had a service check. what could be the problem?

I don't know exactly how close the the yellow the car has to be in order to reset the service lights, but I know that the car won't allow them to be reset until a specific amount of fuel has been consumed. So it is possible that a reset couldn't be done when you had the Inspection II done, since you didn't have an Inspection light and a yellow (or red) bar then.

Swing by your dealer and ask them to do the reset. They should do it for free and it should only take a few minutes.

I can't believe that the dealership would forget to rest the indicator. That should be in their checklist for Inspection I and II. Anything is possible I guess.:dunno
