So I was at the pasadena ricer meet last night with Brad D. and EvilOne, and an S2000 showed up. Anxious to test the new motor, I asked him if he wanted to run, and he said sure. We headed out to a deserted stretch of highway, and made a couple pulls. We rolled from 60mph. The first one, he jumped a little, but by the top of 3rd I reeled him in. On the 2nd one, we again went on 3 honks, from 60. By the top of 3rd, I had half a CL on him, and by the top of 4th I had about 6 CLs on him.

my car gets the new wiring harness on tuesday, so after thats in, we're good to go :D

I'm down on both counts. I've always wanted to see what's up with the manifold install on those OBDII cars. Physically installing the manifold is easy, the rest should be easy when you've got an OBDI car sitting right next to the car that's being worked on to see where hoses and wires go and stuff. ;)

The only holdup is going to be the turbo, about 3 days to build it and 4 days to coat the exhaust housing. It will be ready by dyno day to be re-tuned by Nenni.

T-Rex, good race, sounds like the s2k was stock. He seems to have known how to drive it, for him to put up that much of a fight, since those cars can easily take a dive, by the driver shifting at wrong points.
