That's not a motorhome, that's a TOURBUS!

If so, that was a VERY nice rig.

Yes, the same one.
Really nice, we're just looking at a larger one.

They make them larger? Sheesh? With more slides or something? What's the max length trailer you can legally pull with the current setup?

Yep! Mine is only a 32' box with one slide and I want a new Volvo truck with an even bigger engine with 3 slides for more room for those after the race beers when we get to the track.

I guess that depends on what you mean by "legally pull"!
According to the CHiP officer I was fortunate enough to meet in '04 when towing to O'fest, my rig is 78.5' long and the absolute max in California is only 65 feet!

However, this is an RV... no CDL required and no commercial tags. Therefore, as long as it is registered as a PRIVATE RV - NOT FOR HIRE, there are no limits in most states (including mine) and as such it is technically legal on all US highways. Since I'm not a professional race team, I do not need it to be a commercial vehicle.

According to the DOT there is no limit on Motorhomes.

Ca just passed a law that Motorsports rigs can be longer...I was told that nascar was complaining about there teams getting tickets and said they were going to not run there anymore.

Ps: are you getting one from Jacklyn at Gebhardts?

Rick,

So far, Renegade has made me a really sweet offer. After this being my second Renegade truck, I guess they want to keep me on-board. Jacklyn is still in the game though. She has a rig on the floorplan now that is pretty nice and Renegade plans to build one to order. We'll see what happens in the next few days. Got some individuals in the mix too.

Mike
