The twisties arent far at all. take hwy 16 north out of charlotte and dont stop till you see VA line. Well you dont have to stop there but you could drive to VA and back prolly 400 miles total

Thanks, but I'm lookin more local. I might just have to take that route on my next trip to VIR.....a very senic out of the way route.

IMHO, don't go through Va. unless absolutely necessary if you have any noticeable mods. I have heard countless horror stories about cops in certain towns impounding cars because they have a modified exhaust. I'm not sure of the particulars regarding these laws I just know that alot of tuners up there get a ridiculous amount of crap for modding their cars. Not that it isn't a great drive. For the real twisties go to the blue ridge parkway =)

I would say meet at Birkdale in Huntersville or Concord Mills or off Harris Blvd around the college.

Charlotte BMW People....cool.....Moved here from Atlanta...looking to meet fellow people with the "sickness" we call BMW...If i'm in town...Birkdale is good...or even Midtown Sundries off of Harris Blvd.

Feb 18th is the Spring fling. Make that the first meeting and we will set up a meet every month in different areas around Charlotte, Concord and surrounding areas. We will have to all get together I will have the 1.9 with me I do not know if I will drive the Z3 coupe or the M3 as the 2nd. Lets try to plan on a certain time we all get together and have lunch or just meet up at the Fling. Another plus is there will be some vendors and I know a lot of cars that will attend.
