CAR IS SOLD.

just bought one from a private owner and am re selling. car is located in Northern VA. Price is negotiable.

PICS IN LINK AT BOTTOM OF POST

red with black top/leather
140k miles
5 speed

car drives pretty tight, motor runs great, trans and clutch are super smooth.

body is about as good as one can find a 87.

paint is pretty good, some oxidation, i dont have the time, patience, or skills really, to high speed buff the car, but it would look awsome with a professional exterior detail.

leather interior is semi rough, but repairable. the stitching has come undone on some of the seams(leather shrinks as it ages) and the only rip/tears is on the driver seat bottom. Not really a tough fix, the leather can be re dyed to look great.

top is kinda weak as well, it operates fine(manual ofcaorse) but has a couple cuts in it, also the rear window is split. buy a new top, or patch the cuts, and replace the rear window.

tires are pretty good.

brakes fell okay.

motor revs nicely and runs like a champ, no noisy ticka ticka from the lifters.

also has a fairly decent kenwood tape deck and 10 disc changer.

i have a few service records on the car, but nothing extensive.

new shocks struts, heater core, minor misc things, ect, performed around 110k or so, timimg belt done around 80K(according to records, may have had another one since then)

car is fun to drive, love the motor and tranny action, feels solid.

HAS VALID VA INSPECTION

i bought the car knowing that i would have to fix/repair/replace the interior and the top, but i dont want to tie up that kind of money in a 87 model, and i dont want to have to sell it for over 4k when complete, so i will see what i can get for it in its current state.

if it were my own personal car i would patch the cuts in the top and replace the rear window......cuz a new top installed is not cheap and the current top "looks" clean enough. I would also remove the seats, pull the leather off the padding and re sow the seams, and the have someone re dye the whole interior, around $250. then a good detail with high speed buff. do this and you will have a pretty sharp lil bimmer.

some pics here http://photobucket.com/albums/a203/cwann/?sc=1

send me an email, christianwann@hotmail.com

car is also listed on craigslist.org

ALSO, i have a VERY clean 1987 MB 300E with under 120k miles that would make a really nice driver, want to get a little over $3k for it, will post pics if anyone is interested.

gotta let me know soon, i either "quick sale" the car in the next week or so, or i send it to an upolstery shop to make the leather like new again and replace the top, then obviously it goes from a $2900 car to a $4000 or 4500car.

if interested let me know, i will make the price work for you, and if you are local i can reccomend the right places to have the work done at.

It looks like the guy picked up this 325ic for $1800 just to make a few bucks on fellow fanatics. Am I wrong? There are people on this board who would give a great home to this vehicle and make it look and run like new...

BINGO, thats the ad, you win a cookie!! yah! your detective work is uncanny, how ever did you find out that i bought it from a private owner???? and who'd of thunk i would ever think to advertise a BMW i am selling on a bmw forum?? your a goddamn genius dickbond. dont shyt on my thread, it clearly reads "I bought this car from a private owner and am reselling" what does that tell you???? weather i bought it for $200 or $2500, WTF does it matter to you? i buy cars, sometimes trade-ins from wholesalers that i am friends with, sometimes individuals cars, and buy them for WHOLESALE, and then turn around and sell for a profit, my cars are nice, tight, and i flip them quick. i just buy a few bimmers, benz', an jags to supplement my income which isnt much since i quit my job before christmas.

if you are not in the market for a e30 convertable to replace yo pickem'up truck, than i guess you had better troll elsewhere buddy.
go take your 5 posts worth of useless information, load em up in your chevy s-10 and go drive off a cliff:) thankyaverymuch.

Seriously, theres nothing wrong with flipping a car. People do it all the time. If someone can find a car for a good deal and sell it for a profit, more power to them.

take what like a man? i could see your point if my ad was deceptive and i was posing as Harry Homeowner selling his personal car. but when my ad clearly reads "i bought this car to resell" and you play DickBond Tracy and tell others i am trying to "get over" on them, i feel its very "troll" like? why dont use your interent detective skills and look up that word, you may be suprised thats its definition mimics your portrayed BF.com presence.

never heard of a NADA auction, and i'd really love to see a $525 or a 1050 bmw convertable, sounds like something YOU may be a buyer for with your $1900, but i think personally i would pass. Again, you impress me thoroughly with your internet manheimonline saviness, i guess thats all it takes to buy a car, the interenet and a check book? dont quit your day job agent dickbond.

on a serious note, and for the sake of simplicity, i will reduce the price to $2400 firm, i think that puts the car "on the money" and if anyone would like to argue its said value than please do it somewhere other than my for sale thread.

is that simple enough? or does dbond or anyother pantywaste have anything else to say? cuz i really find it interesting that people take interest in crappin on lil ol m thrizl's lil red bimmer for sale on lil ol BF.com.

thanks, and have a great day:D

i just drove it on a 2 hour round trip today, car runs great, everything feels tight except for the front rotors which are a little warped.

dbond, thanks for posting a reply on craigslist as well, the whole interent world is proud of ya son, you're a shoe in for watchdog of the month at pettypeoplelittlepenises.com

also, thanks for helping me trash my own thread.
