02/16/06 -- Going up on ebay tonight
Looking to sell / interesting trades for my 1994 Porsche 968. It is black on black with 18" Turbo Twist rims (also have original 16" 968 rims). For those of you not familiar with Porsche this is the sucessor to the 944 and looks a lot like the 928. It has the most powerful 3.0liter 4 cylinder engine Porsche ever produced (normally aspirated). You can't believe the power in the 4-5k range -- you'd swear it's a turbo, and the sound from the exhaust is, well, intoxicating. IIRC, about 240hp/tq, and with it's weight it really moves.
It has 87k miles and is in great shape. Only "downside" for those here is that it is a tiptonic, which I actually like because Porsche does the tip right -- it will hold the gear you put it in and will not shift on its own.
I have the original bill of sale and service records since new. I just replaced the rear suspension with Koni sports and in preparation for the winter I had the oil changed and had the transmission flushed -- everything works as it should.
The pictures below are from today in the garage to give you an idea of the condition. The paint is in really good shape with normal wear for a 12 year old Porsche. If the weather improves I will pull it out for better pictures. Obviously it doesn't come out in the winter.
Looking to sell for around $12k or interesting trades. This price is pretty good if you check around and this car has been well maintained. The timing belt was last changed at 65k miles along with the balance shaft belts. Never chipped, never tracked, never raced.
