Looks like it connects to the "ears" of the diff cover. Pretty trick. Any more info on it? (ie: what car did it come off etc..)

Very similar to mine, made by Bell Motorsports. Who made yours? What did you use it for?

I have one available as well. I've been told it's the Turner Motorsport World challenge rear bar. They were approximately $800 new.

No wonder that thing uses its own mounts, I can see it snapping off your stock sway bar tabs at the first pothole it hits. Jesus that thing is nice...

This one just sold on EBay for about $130 with shipping. I have one that has a better finish and complete with adjustable end links if anyone is interested. Pic's attached.

Would there be a difference is performance if this was swapped with the stock m3 sways?

It's just a rear bar and should only be used for track/race cars. It's not really practical for street use.

I have the UUC front and rear sway bars, What are the advantages of such a sway bar for a race car?

They were developed by Turner Motorsport for the World Challenge series. They would know more of the finite details, but as you can see from the size and mounting points, they are very serious pieces. They sold for $600 new so for the right person, I'll give them a bargain.
I bought an M3 race car with Ground Control coilovers and RD sways. The guy I bought the car from was about to re-do his entire suspension with this bar and remote reservoir Motons but decided on another project and sold the car. I basically inherited it and no longer have any use for it.
